As Christmas approaches we would just like to say a huge thank you for supporting our little venture in 2024. Starting out in April 2023 as many small manufacturers do, with an Ebay store and a basic Ender 3 printer, we ventured in to resin printing by the end of the year and launched the website in August 2024. We had no idea what the response would be. Similarly, the launch of two complete kits (three if you count our first foray in to N gauge) has been met with unanimous approval and has spurred us on to do more. It’s been a year of investing in top notch 3D printing kit, gathering lots and lots of research material, and putting the resources in place to make 2025 another great year.

We have our first physical appearance at a show booked for May 2025 and may even squeeze a couple more in before then if we can any free slots anywhere. Our joiner friend is busy building our display cabinets!

2025 promises to bring more of the same, including more wagon kits, more scenic and detailing bits, and our first ever full locomotive conversion kit in 4mm / OO. We are trying to keep tight-lipped about what that might be, but what we will say is that bias is kicking in again and that Southern Region modellers are once again being looked after….
|
We may even release those LT battery loco kits at some point. We will be welcoming feedback on that possibility as we will take the test builds to any shows that we do.

Apologies to our EU and NI customers
|
|
|
We’re truly sorry to our fantastic customers in Northern Ireland and the EU. Due to new EU regulations known as GPSR, we’ve had to temporarily pause shipping to Northern Ireland and the EU. Since Northern Ireland is still part of the single market, the GPSR rules apply there too. Our final shipping date to the EU and Northern Ireland was Thursday, 12th December. We believe these new safety regulations are aimed at tackling dangerous or substandard products from online large retailers in the Far East, but unfortunately, it’s also causing challenges for small independent businesses in the UK, who do not have the resources or know-how to meet administrative compliance requirements. We are working hard to try and get to the bottom of this so we can resume shipping to the EU and NI as soon as possible. Once again, apologies and thanks so much for your patience and understanding.

As you may know, our 4mm/ OO scale wagon kits come with Bachmann wheels as standard but we potentially have an issue. The whole globe seems to have run out of Bachmann 12mm wagon wheels which very shortly leaves us with options; either stop making wagon kits (not an option!), don’t include wheels, or supply our kits with Hornby or Dapol wheelsets. We would be very interested to hear what our customers think about these options. Please let us know.
