These wagons were used on British Rail’s Southern Region to transport “Thumper” DEMU engines between Eastleigh works and depots around the region.
They could be seen on the network in the 70s right through to the 90s. A truly unusual prototype which would look great on any N gauge BR Southern Region siding or depot layout.

The hood, toolboxes and brake rod hanger are made from unpainted resin. Simply paint with acrylic or enamel paints to finish. Parts can be glued to the model with cyano (superglue) or epoxy resin adhesives.
The kit is offered as a body only or can be bought with a PECO NR-122 chassis included.
