OO Scale / 4mm / 1:76 Scale British Telecom K8 Telephone Box Kiosk Kit.
The British Telecom K8 telephone box. Once a common sight in the UK from 1968 until the 1990s, only a tiny fraction of these are left in existence. Designed post-privatisation to replace the classic red phone box, many of these were painted yellow in BTs corporate colour scheme. It proved to be a very unpopular move!

Each kit contains:
1x K8 BT Telephone Box
1x Roof Cap
1x Internal Detail (pay phone, shelf, backboard, directory frame, and phone books / yellow pages. Depicting the box in 1960s – mid 80s condition with rotary payphone.
1x Sheet of Pre-cut glazing with fold scores.
The roof cap is designed to house a 3mm warm white LED (not supplied) and a hole is provided in the base to route wires underneath for connection.
Simply paint with enamel or acrylic paints and assemble to complete. Very easy to paint and assemble.
Cigarette burns and dubious smells are not included.
